Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our sales team. The ideal candidate is confident, driven, and unafraid to take initiative. This is a 100% commission-based role with uncapped earning potential tied directly to performance. You will be responsible for generating leads, engaging with potential clients, and driving sales for M&A Capital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and collect accurate contact information from appropriate sources (SEDAR, SEDI, corporate websites, etc.) and enter it into the firm’s systems.

  • Client Outreach: Initiate contact with prospective clients via phone and email to present M&A Capital’s services.

  • Sales Execution: Promote M&A Capital’s products and services to close new business.

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Reporting: Track sales activity, maintain accurate records of interactions, and provide regular updates to management.

Skills & Attributes

  • Highly confident and comfortable handling rejection.

  • Experience with CRM systems or sales tools.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative.

  • Self-disciplined with excellent time management skills.

Compensation

  • 100% Commission-Based: Earnings are directly tied to the deals you close.
